Alias Investigations is the Private Eye detective agency opened and operated by the Super-powered Jessica Jones. Using her super strength to become the hero Jewel, she encountered a psychotic villain whose abuse and manipulation of her, to put her to work for nefarious purposes, left her jaded. "I'm not a hero" has become her mantra, despite her actions showing the opposite to be true. Having turned her back on her super identity, she opened the agency to use the skills she'd built up, and they are exceptional skills.
