Salem's Lot is an American supernatural horror film written and directed by Gary Dauberman, based on Stephen King's 1975 novel of the same name. The film stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbæk, John Benjamin Hickey, Alfre Woodard, and William Sadler. The plot centres on a writer who returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration, only to discover the presence of a vampire.

Upon David's return to Salem, he finds the formerly warm and friendly community to be downright sinister; he suspects that the bizarre behaviour of his old neighbours is due to the work of an eccentric antiques dealer.
